I'm trying
to find something to rely on
'cause I'm dying
to be the one you can get by on
I'm trying
to be the one you'll run from
in need of living your life
to feel the sun shining on your skin in bed
on the night when you come home tired.
I'm driving through the gut of a ghost now
These highway nights of a man will get the most, now.
I stumbled into a younger me with less miles.
The one you lovin', still, though he's been gone quite awhile
Hell bent on tryin...
to be the one you'll run from
in need of living your life
to feel the sun shining on your skin in bed
on the night when you come home tired.
For now you're all alone
I know I'm doing you wrong, but I miss you
and you never let on, no you never let on –
I know you must be lonely, but you never let on it's me
it’s me, the one who's running from
a need to make things right
I need the sun shining on your lips in bed
every night
while I'm trying to be the one you'll run from
in need of living your life
to feel the sun shining on your skin in bed
on the night when you come home tired.

Green Altar has special place in my heart, such a beautiful song with touching words. It came out shortly before our wedding and we had our first dance to it, weeks after the wedding we saw and met chelsea and she congratulated us, this song always stirs up all the emotions moises9598
Medicine is one of the most hauntingly beautiful albums I've ever had to privilege to hear. It helped me get more in touch with my own self, spirituality and nature. It certainly lives up to its name. The flutes, drumming and percussion are just wonderful. This is a great album to let play all the way through. pimblycharles
